Lincoln Avenue SSA is Seeking Applications
Are you interested in becoming an SSA commissioner? The Lincoln Avenue SSA is always seeking applications. The City relies on SSA commissioners to oversee SSA work plans, budgets and service providers. If you own property or operate a business on Lincoln Avenue between Webster and Diversey, and you are interested in learning more about participating in your local SSA, contact the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce.
What are Commissioner duties?
- Uphold the SSA #35 Mission
- Recommend annual services and service provider
- Recommend annual budget and tax rate
Who can be a Commissioner?
Eligible candidates must be owners or lessees, or agents of such owners or lessees, of commercial property within the SSA boundaries, which are commercial, residential and mixed-use properties fronting Lincoln Avenue from Diversey Parkway on the north to Webster Avenue on the south.
